As we approach International Women’s Day #IWD2018, it is important to reflect upon how the industry is looking to develop and work with women.
At #TeamCoral we are encouraging women, not only those that are established within their chosen career path, but to support new talented individuals through their apprenticeships. It’s a busy week for us as not only is it #IWD2018 it is also National Apprenticeship week #NAW2018.
Manufacturing is a thriving, exciting and rewarding industry. Coral Products (Mouldings) LTD, are keen to challenge and develop all our staff, and to bring Coral Products (Mouldings) Ltd to the forefront of the injection moulded plastics Industry.
A career in our industry is about finding solutions, embracing the latest technologies, developing and making products that end up on your kitchen tables, under the bonnet of your car and we even provide the products for your recycling and daily food waste.
Recently according to the latest ONS data the gender split in manufacturing is 76% men and 24% women.
At Coral Products (Mouldings) LTD we are looking as part of the manufacturing industry to work to close this gap. We closely follow Women in Manufacturing to see how we can be part of the process or progress. http://www.womeninmanufacturing.org/home
